【Description】Pearl sand has also become molten ceramic sand. Its raw material is high-quality alumina, which is made by electric arc furnace smelting. Pearl sand has a wide range of uses and can be used in various casting methods such as investment casting, solid mold casting, and evaporative pattern casting. It is a new type of casting sand for professional precision casting and shell molding, and is also used in shot blasting of aluminum, copper, and steel castings.

Bead sand has also become fused ceramic sand. Its raw material is high-quality alumina, which is made by electric arc furnace smelting. Bead sand has a wide range of uses and can be used in various casting methods such as investment casting, solid molding, and evaporative pattern casting. It is a new type of casting sand for professional precision casting and coated sand, and is also used in shot blasting of aluminum, copper, and steel castings.

The cost-effectiveness of bead sand is superior to zircon sand and chromite sand. It has a low coefficient of expansion, does not sinter, does not pulverize, does not crack, does not stick to sand, and has good regeneration performance, with particularly obvious advantages.

  1. Smaller coefficient of thermal expansion. Molding sand made with it as a raw material will not cause expansion defects in castings, and its performance can even be comparable to zircon sand.

  2. Spherical sand grains have good fluidity, are easy to compact, and have good air permeability.

  3. It has a smooth surface and a dense structure, so the binder can be evenly coated on the surface.

  4. As a neutral material, bead sand is suitable for acid and alkali binders.

  5. It can be regenerated and reused, and has a high cost-effectiveness.

The price of bead sand is only 30-50% of that of zircon sand and chromite sand. Because it is spherical sand grains with a small surface area, the amount of resin added can also be reduced by 30-50%, and the amount of water glass added is less than 4%. It can also improve the yield of castings.

Bead sand has a wide range of applications, such as water glass sand, resin sand, precision casting, and polishing and cleaning of copper and aluminum parts.
